Before you use Power Movie Effects, please set up your QuickCam properly. If you connect and install QuickCam to the printer port, turn off AppleTalk through Chooser first. Otherwise Power Movie Effects would quit automatically.
Also, this version of Power Movie Effects (version 1.0.5+) is designed for QuickCam. That means if you haven't set up QuickCam properly, Power Movie Effects may quit itself. It has been tested exclusively with QuickCAM and has been running properly. If you have other digitizer such as spigot or AV Power Macs, Power Movie Effects might work with it. Not guarateed, however.
After you choose a movie and see the "Playing Movie" window, press æ-0 (0 is number zero) and you should be able to see the digitized movie playing. Press æ-O again to see the quicktime movie.
